1. Our use of AI
AI-AO may use artificial intelligence as a support tool for research, drafting, translation, summarisation, software development, and image editing. AI supports our work; it does not replace our responsibility for what we publish or deliver.
2. Human review and editorial responsibility
Public website content and Knowledge Hub articles are reviewed by a person before publication. AI-AO retains editorial responsibility for published material. Important claims should be checked against suitable sources, and content may be corrected when new information becomes available.
3. When you interact with AI
The current public website does not present a chatbot or other feature that communicates with visitors as an AI system. If an interactive Open_H or other AI service is made available, we will clearly inform users that they are interacting with AI no later than the first interaction, unless this is already obvious from the context.
4. AI-generated and manipulated content
Where legally required, realistic synthetic or materially manipulated image, audio, or video content will be clearly disclosed. We also seek to preserve or add machine-readable provenance information when supported by the tools and publishing channel. AI-generated text concerning matters of public interest will be disclosed when required, including where it is published without human review or editorial control.
5. Limitations and safeguards
AI systems can produce inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or outdated results. We apply human oversight appropriate to the purpose and do not knowingly place confidential, sensitive, or personal information into external AI services unless its use is authorised and protected by appropriate arrangements. Visitors should not treat general website content or AI output as individual legal, medical, or financial advice.
6. Open_H and customer deployments
Open_H is designed as an adaptable AI workspace. The applicable transparency notices, human oversight, data protection measures, and allocation of provider and deployer responsibilities depend on each deployment and its intended use. These requirements must be assessed before an implementation is made available to end users.
